Analysis of properties of the nonlinear regression model of UVB radiation

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on modeling erythemally weighted ultraviolet radiation (EUV) with emphasis on the preparation of model input data. The work includes the implementation of the calculation of extraterrestrial radiation variables and the interpolation of total atmospheric ozone measurements to a uniform temporal resolution. The EUV model is subsequently applied to three selected stations in the Czech Republic, and the results are used to analyze the temporal behavior of EUV radiation.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá modelováním erytemálně efektivního ultrafialového záření (EUV) s důrazem na správnou přípravu vstupních dat. V rámci práce je implementován výpočet extraterestriálních radiačních veličin vstupujících do modelu a řešena interpolace měření celkového atmosférického ozónu na jednotné časové rozlišení. Model EUV je následně aplikován na území České republiky pro tři vybrané měřicí stanice a výsledky slouží k analýze časového průběhu EUV záření.
