Strategic analysis of the microenvironment of the company EKONOM AG SERVIS, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je získání informací významných pro strategické rozhodování společnosti EKONOM AG SERVIS, s.r.o. pomocí analýzy jejího mikrookolí. Na základě výstupu z provedené strategické analýzy by měl být podnik schopný posoudit správnost jeho současné strategie a jeho konkurenceschopnost. Navrhovaná doporučení by také měla pomoci vedení společnosti při plánování budoucí strategie.Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části jsou s využitím odborné literatury popsány základní pojmy a také metody strategické analýzy. Mezi nejvýznamnější použité metody patří analýza odvětví, Porterův model 5 sil, benchmarking a SWOT analýza. Praktická část obsahuje nejprve představení společnosti a vymezení trhu. Následně je využito metod popsaných v teoretické části k analýze mikrookolí podniku. Získané poznatky z jednotlivých analýz jsou shrnuty ve SWOT analýze. V návaznosti na ni jsou navržena doporučení pro rozvoj firmy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to acquisition information important for the stategic decision making of EKONOM AG SERVIS, s.r.o. by analyzing its microenvironment. The output from the strategic analysis should serve as a tool to help the company Ekonom AG Servis, s.r.o. assess the correctness of its current strategy and its competitiveness. Suggested recommendtaions should also help management to plan the future strategy.The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes basic concepts as well as methods of strategic analysis represented by specialized literature focusing on the topic. The most significant methods used in this thesis include sector analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, benchmarking and SWOT analysis. The practical part in the first instance introduces company and defines the market. Subsequently, the methods described in the theoretical part are used to analyze micro-environment. Acquired knowledge are summarized in the SWOT analysis. The final part includes recommendations for the company development.
