Commented translation of an extract of a legal text

Abstract:

This master thesis named ?Commented translation of an extract of a legal text? deals with the translation of a specialized text from the field of law. The source text is an extract from the chapter titled Des sociétés anonymes of the french Commercial Code. This master thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is constituted by the translation of the extract from French into Czech. In the second part, we analyse the source text and the translation from the stylistic, syntactic and lexical point of view. In the last part, we present a glossary that includes terms from the translated extract and related to the joint stock companies.

Abstract:

Le présent mémoire de maîtrise intitulé ? La traduction commentée d?un extrait d?un texte juridique ? s?occupe de la traduction d?un texte spécialisé du domaine du droit. Le texte de départ est un extrait du chapitre portant le titre Des sociétés anonymes du Code de commerce français. Le présent mémoire de maîtrise contient trois parties essentielles. La premi?re partie est constituée de la traduction de l?extrait du français vers le tch?que. Dans la deuxi?me partie, nous analysons le texte de départ et la traduction du point de vue stylistique, syntaxique et lexical. Dans la derni?re partie, nous présentons le glossaire qui contient des termes tirés de l?extrait traduit qui sont liés aux sociétés anonymes.
