Motorcycle modifications for disabled

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem úpravy motocyklu pro osobu s postižením dolních končetin (paraplegika). Součástí je popis jednotlivých konstrukčních změn vozidla, legislativa nutná při schvalování navržené individuální úpravy motocyklu určeného a upraveného pro osobu tělesně postiženou. Je zde uveden výčet možných silničních dopravních prostředků vhodných pro tělesně postižené osoby. V praktické části je popsán výběr vhodného motocyklu s ohledem na jeho použití a požadavky handicapované osoby, výčet, popis a návrh úprav pro tuto osobu vzhledem k jejímu handicapu a zástavbě úprav na vybraný motocykl.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the design of motorcycle modifications for a person with the lower limb disease (paraplegic). It includes description of each design adjustments of the vehicle, the legislative requirements necessary for approval of the proposed individual modification of the motorcycle designed and modified to meet the people with disability needs. The list of possible means of road transport vehicles suitable for disabled persons is provided here. The practical part describes the choice of a suitable motorcycle with regard to its use and requirements of the handicapped persons, enumeration, description and design of motorcycle modifications used by people with disabilities.
