Watching Text and Reading Theatre

Abstract:

Tato práce tematizuje rozpínání principů komunikace literárního textu směrem ke komunikaci divadelní, a to skrze možnosti aktivizace čtenáře. V hranicích textu autor experimentálně ohledává způsoby, skrze které napsaný text zdůrazňuje fakt vždy konkrétní časoprostorové realizace čtení a rozmanitým způsobem bere do hry čtenáře jako psychofyzickou bytost. Opírá se přitom jednak o literární díla vědomě pracující se situovaností čtenáře a v druhé řadě o autorem sestavenou antologii Poezie situace. Své závěry dává do kontextu divadelní komunikace, v jejímž rámci je divák vybízen k opuštění role pouhého pozorovatele a stává se aktivním spolutvůrcem.

Abstract:

The theme of this thesis is the expansion of the principles of communication of the literary text towards theatrical communication, namely through possible ways of activating the reader. Within the boundaries of the text, the author experimentally explores how the written text emphasizes the always concrete spatiotemporal realization of reading and in various ways brings into play the reader as a psycho-physical being. He bases this firstly on literary works that consciously deal with the situatedness of the reader and, secondly, on the anthology Poezie situace, compiled by the author. He provides his conclusions in the context of theatrical communication, in which the spectator is encouraged to abandon the role of mere observer and become an active co-creator.
