The Influence of Parenting Style in Families on a Child's Self-valuation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vliv způsobu výchovy na sebehodnocení dětí. První část se věnuje vymezení rodiny, jejich druhů a funkcí. Také výchovou a různým pohledům na užívané způsoby výchovy. Ústřední je teoretické vymezení sebehodnocení, souvisejících pojmů a charakteristika sebehodnocení v období pubescence. V rámci praktické části práce byly zjišťovány převládající výchovné styly a míra sebehodnocení. Byla hledána zejména souvislost mezi výchovou a sebehodnocením dětí v období pubescence. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda existují rozdíly v míře sebehodnocení pubescentů v závislosti na výchovném způsobu.

Abstract:

This thesis focused on the influence of parenting styles on a child's self-valuation. The first part deals with the definition of the family, their types and functions. Also, upbringing and different views on ways used of upbringing. The main part is defined self-valuation, related concepts and characteristics of self-valuation during pubescence. In the practical part of the thesis, we looked the prevailing parenting styles and measure of self-valuation. We were looking for mainly the link between upbringing and child's self-valuation during pubescence. The aim of research is to find out differences in the self-valuation of pubescent depending on parenting style.
