Civilization and barbarism in Doña Bárbara
Abstract:
This work examines the meaning of the dichotomy between civilization and barbarism in Doña Bárbara, written by Rómulo Gallegos. The aim of the present work is to demonstrate the relationship between fiction and historical reality, more precisely, the Gómez dictatorship.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce analyzuje konflikt civilizace a barbarství v románu Doña Bárbara od Rómula Gallega. Hlavním cílem práce je dokázat, že román je odrazem diktátorského režimu Juana Vicente Gómeze.
