Vaccination during pregnancy

Abstract:

I přes významné pokroky v medicíně je infekční onemocnění v těhotenství velmi závažným rizikem pro matku i novorozence. Z tohoto důvodu je v této práci představena možnost prevence očkováním. Očkovat lze těhotnou ženu přímo v těhotenství, a to proti černému kašli především ve třetím trimestru gravidity, kdy matka přenese na dítě největší množství protilátek a proti chřipce ve všech trimestrech. Při plánovaném těhotenství je vhodné nechat se naočkovat proti infekčním onemocněním ještě před početím, případně si ověřit hladinu sérových protilátek. Pokud se gravidní žena nestihne nebo nechce naočkovat, je zde také možnost tzv. rodinné strategie. Toto východisko zahrnuje očkování nejbližších příbuzných těhotné ženy a novorozence, což sníží riziko kontaktu s infikovanou osobou, tudíž poklesne riziko nakažení těhotné ženy. Cílem práce bylo představit veřejnosti zmíněné aktuální poznatky z problematiky-Očkování v těhotenství.

Abstract:

Despite the significant advances in medicine, infectious diseases in pregnancy are a very serious risk for both the mother and the newborn. For this reason, the prevention of vaccination is presented in this work. It is possible to vaccinate a pregnant woman directly during pregnancy, against the black cough, especially during the third trimester of pregnancy, when the mother transfers to the child the largest amount of antibodies and the flu in all trimesters. During planned pregnancy, it is advisable to have an inoculation prior to conception, or to verify serum antibody levels. If a pregnant woman does not get or wants to inoculate, there is also the possibility of a so-called family strategy. This approach involves vaccinating the closest relatives of a pregnant woman and a newborn, which will reduce the risk of contact with the infected person, thus reducing the risk of pregnant women becoming infected. The aim of the thesis was to present the above mentioned current knowledge from the issue of vaccination during pregnancy.
