The main theme of this bachelor thesis is Angela Merkel's view of the role of Germany within Europe. The aim of the thesis is to work out, how Angela Merkel as the Chancellor of Germany sees the role of Germany within Europe, on the basis of selected texts. Das Hauptthema dieser Bachelorarbeit ist Angela Merkels Sicht der Rolle Deutschlands in Europa. Das Ziel der Bachelorarbeit besteht darin, anhand der Analyse von ausgewählten Texten herauszuarbeiten, wie Angela Merkel als deutsche Bundeskanzlerin die Rolle Deutschlands in Europa sieht.
