Bakalářská práce přináší přehled o životě a díle latinsky píšícího básníka Venantia Fortunata žijícího v 6. století. Přibližuje jeho vztah k zakladatelce kláštera sv. Kříže v Poitiers Radegundě Durynské a jeho první abatyši Agnes. Dále se zaměřuje na výběr několika básní z Fortunatova díla, které náleží do okruhu autorovy osobní korespondence s těmito dvěma ženami. Tyto básně nejprve charakterizuje …more
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis provides an overview of the life and work of Latin poet Venantius Fortunatus, who lived during the sixth century. This text brings us closer to the poet's relationship with the founder of The Abbey of the Holy Cross in Poitiers Radegund of Thuringia and its first abbes Agnes.
