Sliding steady rest with unfolding upper part and covering the supported diameter

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce obsahuje rešerši opěr a podvalků používaných na obráběcích strojích, popis multifunkčního obráběcího stroje S-MT a popis stávajícího řešení kluzné C opěry pro stroj S200MT. Praktická část obsahuje výpočty dílčích konstrukčních uzlů a kon-strukční návrh nového řešení kluzné C opěry pro vyšší řadu stroje S500MT. Výpočty byly prováděny pomocí různých výpočtových pro-gramů. Konstrukce je koncepčně založena na stávajícím řešení pro nižší řadu stroje s několika inovativními řešeními. Výstupem práce je výrobní výkres jedné součásti a výkres sestavy opěry. Tato práce může sloužit jako podklad firmě ŠMT a.s. pro tvorbu finálního konstrukčního řešení opěry pro stroj S500MT.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis contains a search of steady rests and supports used on machine tools, description of the multifunctional machine tool S-MT and a description of the existing solution of the sliding C steady rest for the machine tool S200MT. The practical part contains calculations of design elements and structural design of a new solution of sliding C steady rest for a higher series of the machine tool S500MT. The calcula-tions were performed using various calculation programs. The design is conceptually based on an existing solution for a lower series S200MT, but with several innovative solutions. The output of the work is a production drawing of one component and whole assembly drawing of the new steady rest. This work can serve as a basis for ŠMT a.s. for their final design of the C steady rest for the machine tool S500MT.
