Abstract:

Diplomová práce Kvalita a objektivita informací v médiích:pravda versus manipulace a dezinformace se zabývá převážně masovými médii, problematikou kvalitního, objektivního a vyváženého zpravodajství, také principy fungování a legislativním základem mediálního prostoru a trhu v ČR. Popsány jsou podrobně typy médií, nejčastěji používané typy manipulací, nastíněny jsou základy zkoumaných negativních jevů a problémů. Na konkrétních případech ve zpravodajství jsou provedeny analýzy, jsou vysvětleny pojmy jako manipulace, dezinformace, objektivita. Jsou zmíněna i témata věnující se svobodnému přístupu k informacím, informační společnosti či etickým zásadám novináů. Závěr práce je věnován průzkumu, který se zabývá návyky, způsoby získávání a zpracování informací, ale především názory respondentů na objektivitu médií.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma Thesis is The Quality and Objectivity of Information in Media: the Truth versus Manipulation and Desinformation. This work deals with the importace of quality, objektivity and balanced news. There is also a detailed description of media types, the most common types of manipulation, and their negative phenomena. Moreover, analyses are are based on factual situationsfrom news as well as the definition of manipulation and desinformation. It also explores the intelectual freedom and ethical principles of journalists. Some national legislation documents relating on this problem are mentioned too. The conclusion deals with a research which finds out habits, ways of getting and processing new information. Furthermore, the research focuses on opinions on the objectivity of mass media.
