Stereotactic Radiosurgery of Liver

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce je zaměřena na stereotaktickou radiochirurgii jater. Stereotaktická radiochirurgie představuje revoluční léčbu pro onkologické pacienty s nádorovým onemocněním. V mé práci se zabývám extrakraniální stereotaktickou radiochirurgii, která umožňuje léčbu nádorů nacházejících se v různých lokalitách na těle. Pomocí Cyber Knife je stereotaktická radioterapie nebo radiochirurgie velmi přesná s maximálním šetřením okolní zdravé tkáně. Léze nacházející se v těsné blízkosti kritických orgánů, můžeme bez problému ozářit. V teoretické části jsem se snažil stručně popsat součásti přístroje Cyber Knife s uvedením indikací pro stereotaktickou radiochirurgii a radioterapii. Dále kritické orgány, které jsou relevantní pro oblast jater. Jako poslední jsem popsal stručnou anatomii, radiosenzitivitu jater, nádory jater a navázal na samotnou radioterapii jater konvenční i stereotaktickou. Cílem mé praktické části bakalářské práce je zjistit, které pacienty s onemocněním jater nejčastěji ozařujeme na Cyber Knife.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I have studied stereotactic radiosurgery of liver. Stereotactic radiosurgery is revolution in treatment for oncologic patients with liver cancers. In my thesis I have dealt with extracranial stereotactic radiosurgery, this is an option for treating cancers which is situated in other parts of body. With Cyber Knife using the stereotactic radiotherapy or Radiosurgery is very exact with maximal protection of health tissue near the tumor. The tumor lesions located near of the critical organs can be irradiated without troubles. In the theoretic part of my bachelor thesis I have described parts of the Cyber Knife with indications for stereotactic Radiosurgery or radiotherapy. Than I have described critical organs which are relevant for zone of liver. At last I have described a brief anatomy of liver, liver radiosensitivity, liver cancers and got on the conventional and stereotactic radiotherapy of liver. The goal of my practical part is to find who patients with liver illnesses are irradiated by the Cyber Knife.
