The Efficiency of IMF Programs Implementation

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Úspěšnost implementace programů MMF“ je empirická analýza faktorů ovlivňujících úspěšnost implementace fiskálních, monetárních a strukturálních programových kritérii MMF. První část práce je věnována teoretickému ukotvení, diskuzi literatury a shrnutí dosavadních výsledků výzkumu v oblasti. Druhá část práce vymezuje a kvantifikuje míru implementace, jakožto hlavní vysvětlovanou proměnnou. Třetí část je zaměřena na identifikaci faktorů s potenciálem ovlivnit míru implementace. Ve čtvrté části je specifikován ekonometrický model, s jehož pomocí jsou následně určeny faktory významně ovlivňující implementaci programů MMF. Pátá část se zabývá interpretací výsledků modelů a diskuzí.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “The Efficiency of IMF Programs Implementation” is to empirically analyze factors influencing the efficiency of implementation of fiscal, monetary and structural criteria of IMF´s programs. First part of this study is dedicated to theoretical background, discussion of literature and summary of existing evidence in the field of implementation. Second part of the study defines and quantifies implementation. Third bard is focused on identifying a list of factors with the potential to influence implementation. Econometric model is specified in the fourth. The last part is dedicated to interpretation and discussion of the results of the model.
