Secure and user-friendly GPU accelerated calculations in the Czech academic eInfrastructure

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on creating a computing environment for the neural networks on the Czech eInfrastructure. The environment is created using container technology which is an important part of cloud computing. This facilitates portability and the ability to train neural networks on any infrastructure. During training, we work with sensitive medical data that must be protected. To ensure this, we chose the Vault tool, which is designed for cloud dynamic environments and gives us great flexibility and control in securing this data.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zameriava na vytvorenie výpočetného prostredia pre neurónové siete na českej eInfraštruktúre. Prostredie je vytvorené pomocou kontajnerizačnej technológie, ktorá je dôležitá v cloud computingu. Uľahčuje to prenositeľnosť a možnosť trénovania neurónových sietí na akejkoľvek infraštruktúre. Pri tréningu pracujeme s citlivými lekárskymi dátami, ktoré musia byť chránené. Na ich zabezpečenie sme zvolili nástroj Vault, ktorý je vytvorený pre cloudové dynamické prostredia a dáva nám veľkú flexibilitu a kontrolu pri zabezpečení týchto dát.
