Analysis of results of performance tests of Lipizzan horses

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením systémů výkonnostních zkoušek lipických koní v rámci Evropských zemí s chovem tohoto plemene a statistickým vyhodnocením výsledků výkonnostních zkoušek konaných v České republice a na Slovensku. U výsledků je hodnocen vliv faktoru země konání výkonnostních zkoušek, rok konání, pohlaví a kmen. Systém hodnocení lipických koní byl porovnáván mezi Slovinskem, Rakouskem, Chorvatskem, Maďarskem, Českou republikou, Slovenskem a Srbskem. Každá z posuzovaných zemí má nastaven vlastní systém hodnocení koní, pro jejich různorodost není možné jednotlivé výsledky vzájemně porovnat. Za sledované období 2010-2021 se v České republice zúčastnilo výkonnostních zkoušek 36 koní a na Slovensku 84 koní. Nejvíce koní zkoušky absolvovalo ve věku čtyř a pěti let. Poměr pohlaví byl na Slovensku vyrovnaný, zatímco v České republice se zkoušek zúčastnilo jednou tolik klisen jako hřebců. Průměrná celková známka v České republice byla 7,34 bodu a na Slovensku 8,42 bodu. U hodnocení výsledků v České republice a na Slovensku byl zjištěn statisticky vysoce průkazný rozdíl pro faktor země konání zkoušek, a to u všech hodnocených kategorií. Pro faktor roku konání zkoušek u hodnocení za celkovou známku, typ a pohlavní výraz a exteriér a u faktoru kmene byl statisticky vysoce průkazný rozdíl zjištěn u hodnocení za celkovou známku a výkonnost. Prokázán byl také statistický rozdíl u faktoru pohlaví za hodnocení exteriéru.

Abstract:

The diplom thesis deals with the evaluation of performance tests of Lipizzaner horses in the European countries with the breeding of Lipizzaners. Statistical evaluation of the results of performance tests held in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The results evaluate the influence of the factor of the country holding the performance tests, the year of the event, sex and sire line. The evaluation system was compared between Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia. Each of the assessed countries has its own system of evaluation of horses, due to their diversity it is not possible to compare individual results. In the period 2010-2021, there were evaluated 36 horses in the Czech Republic and 84 horses in Slovakia. Most of horses passed the evaluation at age of four and five. The sex ratio was balanced in Slovakia, while in the Czech Republic there were once as many mares. The average total mark in the Czech Republic was 7.34 points and in Slovakia 8.42 points. In the evaluation of results in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, a statistically highly significant difference was found for the factor of the country of testing, in all evaluated categories. For the factor of the year of the tests in the evaluation for the total mark, type and gender expression and exterior, and for the sire line factor, a statistically highly significant difference was found in the evaluation for the total mark and performance. There was also a statistical difference in the sex factor for the evaluation of the exterior.
