Franchising as the Form of the Expansion in a New Territory

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce, v souladu s oficiálním zadáním, „Frančíza jako forma expanze na nové teritorium“ je v první části prezentace základních rysů teorie franchisingu, která je následována aplikací teorie na vybrané franchisory působící na našem území. Vybraní franchisoři jsou podrobeni analýze z různých úhlů pohledu, jakým je hledisko oborového zaměření podnikání, konceptu budování a rozšiřování franchisových poboček a také způsobu financování franchisových aktivit. Na závěr jsou shrnuty veškeré získané poznatky v rámci dané komparace franchisorů.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis, in accordance with the official submission: “Franchising as the Form of the Expansion in a New Territory” is in the first part to outline the basic features of the theory of franchising, which is followed by the application of the theory to selected franchisors operating in our country. Selected franchisors are analyzed from different perspectives such as business aspect of specialization, the concept of building and expanding subsidiaries, and also the way how to finance activities connected with franchising. The conclusion summarizes all the findings obtained in the comparison of the franchisors.
