Anotácia:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na začátek Druhého přechodného období v Egyptě v konkrétních regionech ovlivněných Asijci a vládou Hyksósů. Dostupné plány sídelní architektury byly porovnány a diskutovány spolu s doklady kočovného způsobu života. Práce také pojednává o historii výzkumu a předpojatosti spojené s vzestupem cizích vládců v Dolním Egyptě. Místa, která byla Asijci nejvíce ovlivněna, jsou podrobně popsána a diskutována.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the beginning of the Second Intermediate Period in Egypt in specific regions influenced by Asiatics and the rule of the Hyksos. Available domestic architectural patterns were compared and discussed together with the evidence from the nomadic way of life. The thesis also discusses the history of research and biases connected to the rising of the foreign rulers in Lower Egypt. The sites that were influenced the most by the Asiatics are described and discussed in detail.
