Abstract:

Počátky české národní historie jsou pevně spjaty s územím středních Čech a později i Moravy. Zhruba ve druhé polovině 9. století se tato místa stala centrem rodu Přemyslovců, kteří si v průběhu následujícího století podmanili celou českou kotlinu a položili tak základy českého středověkého státu. Přes velký historický význam jsou tyto události komentovány jen jednotlivě ve středověkých kronikách a legendách. Z tohoto důvodu se moderní výzkum snaží zapojit archeologické prameny do bádání o původu českého státu. Největší pozornost byla věnována opevněným místům, která v dané době plnila funkci politických, ekonomických, administrativních a náboženských center života středověké společnosti. Vzestup moci či úpadek lokalit byl odrazem historických událostí. Studium vývojových proměn slovanských hradišť v Čechách a na Moravě nám umožnilo identifikovat jednotlivé fáze vzniku dynastie a státu Přemyslovců.

Abstract:

The beginnings of the national history of Bohemia are closely conected with Central Bohemia and later too with sites in Moravia. Somewhere in the second half of the 9th century, this territory became subject to the clan of Přemysl which, in the course of the following century, subordinated to its rule the whole Bohemian basin, laying thus the foundations of the mediaeval state of Bohemia. Though being of major historical importance, these events are commented by hardly more than a handful of singular entries in early Mediaeval chronicles and legends. For this reason, modern research attempts to integrate archeological sources into investigations of the origins of Bohemian state. Of these, the highest amount of attention has been dedicated to walled sites which, during their ancient periods of existence, represented political, economic, administrative and religious centers of life of the ancient society. The ascension to power or, alternatively, the decline and fall of these structures was thus always a reflection of certain historical events. The study of these developmental transformations of Slavic walled sites in Bohemia and Moravia has enabled us to identify individual phases of creation of the Přemysl dynasty state.
