Ways of effective communication between parents and nursery school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce má výzkumný charakter a je zaměřena na efektivní komunikaci mezi mateřskou školou a rodiči. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké formy efektivní komunikace jsou mezi aktéry předškolního vzdělávání využívány. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky z oblasti efektivní komunikace, jež jsou doplněny o jednotlivé formy, které jsou v mateřských školách pro komunikaci využívány. V praktické části práce je představen kvantitativní výzkum založený na dotazníkovém šetření mezi učiteli a rodiči, jehož se účastnilo 384 respondentů. Z výsledků vyplývá, že mateřské školy pro komunikaci využívají tradiční i elektronickou formu komunikace. Při výběru efektivního nástroje však nezáleží na délce praxe, umístění mateřské školy, ani na vzdělání respondentů, ale na oblasti, o které se baví. Výzkumná zjištění jsou následně diskutována a je zmíněno doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The master thesis has a research character and is focused on effective communication between the nursery school and parents. The aim of this work is to find out what forms of effective communication are used among the actors of preschool education. In the theoretical part, findings from the field of effective communication are summarized, which are supplemented by the individual forms that are used in kindergartens for communication. In the practical part of the work, a quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey among teachers and parents, in which 384 respondents participated, is presented. The results show that nursery schools use both traditional and electronic forms of communication to inform parents. However, when choosing an effective tool, it is not the length of practice, the location of the kindergarten, or the education of the respondents that matters, but the area they are talking about. The research findings are subsequently discussed and recommendations for practice are mentioned.
