Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vysvetlením tvorby filmových trikov vo filme 2001: Vesmírna odysea. Poukazuje na režisérsky prístup Stanleyho Kubricka k vizuálnemu prevedeniu filmu. Rozoberá jednotlivé scény, ich obrazotvorné prvky a ich význam. Skúma systém tvorby nafilmovania vesmírnej fikcie s ohľadom na dostupné technológie tej doby. Cieľom textu je pochopiť jednotlivé technológie a zaradiť ich k jednotlivým trikových scénam s dôrazom na jej elementy. Z teoretickej časti práce vyplýva, že technológie v tomto filme sú prelomové a aj preto je film gigantom svojho žánru. V druhej analytickej časti sa venujem štylistickým prvkom, farebnosti, svetlu, pohybu a kompozícii, ktoré popisujem zo štyroch vybraných scén. Za prínos celej práce pre mňa považujem to, že vynaliezavosť technológií tej doby ma dokázala tak veľmi zaujať, že už predtým obdivovaný vizuálny charakter filmu u mňa hodnotne stúpol.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to explain the creation of film's tricks in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. It points out Stanley Kubrick's directorial approach to the visual performance of the film. It analyses individual scenes, their imaginary elements and their meaning. It offers an insight into the methods of filming a cosmic fiction movie at that time. With an emphasis on elements of separate trick scenes to which individual technologies are assigned, the main target of the work is to comprehend the diverse technologies used during the creation of the movie. The theoretical part of the work proves that the used technologies are groundbreaking and thus make the film a giant of its genre. The second analytical part deals with a thorough analysis of four selected scenes with a focus on stylistic elements, colour, light, movement and their composition. The major benefit of the whole work is that it shows the ingenuity of the technology of that time to be even more fascinating than the already admired visual character of the film.
