Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na téma učebních strategií, které jsou používány žáky devátých ročníků tří základních škol. Teoretická část se v úvodu zabývá učením se cizímu jazyku s důrazem na výukové metody zaměřené na žáka samotného. Jsou zde zmíněny výukové metody, které podporují rozvoj žáků v procesu učení a důležitost efektivního používání učebních strategií s cílem dosáhnutí klíčových kompetencí stanovených v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu pro základní vzdělávání. Dále jsou zde prezentovány klasifikace učebních strategií dle R. Oxford a A.D. Cohena s důrazem na jednotlivé kategorie učebních strategií a řečových dovedností, ve kterých se učební strategie uplatňují. Praktická část je věnována analýze výsledků výzkumu, který je založen na informacích shromážděných pomocí kvantitativního výzkumného šetření s pomocí dotazníku. Použitý dotazník byl převzat od Večeřové a Přikrylové, které původní dotazník od R.Oxford přepracovaly pro potřeby českého prostředí a žáky základních škol. V praktické části jsou uvedeny výsledky analýz míry používání učebních strategií žáky devátých tříd tří základních škol. Pozornost je zaměřena na použití učebních strategií dle jednotlivých kategorií, dále pak dle řečových dovedností a rozdílů v používání strategií mezi dívkami a chlapci. V závěru jsou pak prezentovány návrhy do praxe ohledně strategií, které se ve výzkumu potvrdily jako velmi málo využívané.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of learning strategies which are employed by 9th grade basic school pupils at three basic schools. In the beginning of the theoretical part, language learning with special focus on learner-centered teaching approaches is presented. Further are introduced teaching approaches which foster learners’ development in the process of learning and the importance of employing learning strategies in order to reach key competences stated in Frame Educational Program for Basic Education. The classifications of learning strategies are presented with accordance to the classifications by R. Oxford and A.D. Cohen with special focus on single categories of learning strategies and their employment in language skills. The practical part is aimed at the analyses of the outcomes of the research, which was conducted by the means of a quantitative disquisition based on questionnaire distributed to basic school pupils. The questionnaire was taken from Vecerova and Prikrylova, who rewrite the questionnaire by R. Oxford for the purposes of the Czech environment and basic school education. The practical part further comprises the analyses of the usages of learning strategies among the pupils. Special focus is devoted to the usage of single categories of learning strategies, to the learning strategies used in language skill and to the differences in the usage of learning strategies among girls and boys. Finally, suggestions for practice are presented according to the results of the least frequently employed learning strategies.
