Analysis of Italian Spas

Abstract:

Diploma thesis The analysis of the Italian spa is aimed at analyzing the development of the Italian spa and also the current state of it. The first chapter of the teoretical part of the thesis defines the basic charakteristics of tourism and the classifications of tourism based on health oriented tourism. The second chapter deals with the history of spa and its basic charakteristics from the point of balneology and tourism view. The analytical section provides the third chapter with basic information on Italy, macroeconomic developments and overall tourism development. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis of the Italian spa. It provides a comprehensive view of historical development from antiquity to the present. It deals with the legislation in the spa field, as well as with the access to the spa stunning. It offers a summary of the main subjects involved in the spa field. It also analyzes the spa and facilites in terms of numbers and locations, visibility, seasonality and segmentation. Describes the results of the Terme d Italia survey and compares the current state of Italian spa and bathing in Germany and in the Czech republic. The proposal part provides and overview of the facts thet have been identified, defines the main problems of Italian spa and then defines a range of measures to strenghten domestic and foreign spa tourism in Italy.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca Analýza talianského kúpeľníctva si kladie za cieľ analyzovať vývoj talianského kúpeľníctva a jeho súčasný stav. Teoretickú časť práce tvoria dve kapitoly. Prvá kapitola prináša základné charakteristiky cestovného ruchu a jeho klasifikáciu. Druhá kapitola je venovaná histórii kúpeľnícta a jeho základným charakteristikám z pohľadu balneológiie i cestovného ruchu. Analytická časť poskytuje v tretej kapitole základné informácie o Taliansku, makroekomickom vývoji a vývoji celkového cestovného ruchu. Štvrtá kapitola je venovaná samotnej analýze talianského kúpeľníctva. Prináša ucelený pohľad na historický vývoj od staroveku až po súčasné obdobie. Zaoberá sa legislatívnou úpravou v oblasti kúpeľníctva ako aj prístupom ku kúpeľnej strostlivosti a ponúka prehľad hlavných subjektov pôsobiacich v oblasti kúpeľníctva. Ďalej analyzuje kúpeľné oblasti a zariadenia z pohľadu ich počtu a rozmiestnenia, návštevnosti, sezónnosti i segmentácie. Popisuje výsledky prieskumu Terme d´Italia a v závere porovnáva súčasný stav talianského kúpeľníctva s kúpeľníctvom v Nemecku a Českej republike. Návrhová časť prináša prehľad zistených skutočností, vymedzuje hlavné problémy talianského kúpeľníctva a následne definuje okruh opatrení vedúcich k posilneniu domáceho i zahraničného kúpeľného cestovného ruchu v Taliansku.
