Hlavním tématem mé práce je „Draugen“ jako postava v norské lidové víře, lidové slovesnosti a norské literatuře. „Draugen“ je postava typicky norská, nenajdeme ho v žádné jiné kultuře. Zjevuje se na moři norským rybářům a zvěstuje neštěstí. Říká se, že ten, který ho uvidí, zemře na moři. První část této práce se zabývá lidovou vírou. Další části pojednávají o literatuře.
