Hora Kailás, nacházející se v západním Tibetu, je posvátná pro čtyři náboženské systémy: hinduismus, buddhismus, džinismus a tibetské náboženství bön. Je spolu s okolními krajinnými prvky, z nichž nejvýznamnějším je jezero Manasaróvar, tradičním poutním místem pro všechny čtyři zmíněné náboženské systémy. Abstract:
The mountain Kailas, located in west Tibet, is a sacred place for four religious systems: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and the Tibetan religion Bön. Together with surrounding landscape features, the most importantly lake Manasarowar, it is a traditional place of pilgrimage for all the above-mentioned religious systems.
