Theatricality of indie gigs: a scene independent from music
Abstract:
The thesis deals with theatricality of indie subcultures’ gigs in Slovakia. It analyzes the concerts of three Slovak bands – The Swan Bride, Sto Much, Panacik – and tries to depict the principles of the visitors’ interaction, in which they undertake the roles of actors and spectators. The thesis describes various factors that may impact either the form of concert or the interaction.
