Protection of Domain Names
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje tématu ochrany doménových jmen, a to primárně z pohledu práva proti nekalé soutěži. Popisuje jednotlivé formy zneužití doménových jmen, popisuje alternativní způsob řešení sporů ve vrcholné národní doméně „.cz“. Stěžejní část práce je věnována rozboru české a zahraniční judikatury v doménových sporech a rozbor rozhodnutí rozhodčích institucí.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the protection of domain names issue and primarily from the law of unfair competition point of view. It describes forms of domain names violation, the alternative way of disputes resolution in the national top level domain name “.cz”. The main part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the decision of Czech and foreign courts and the arbitration and mediation centre.
