Genderová rovnoprávnost jako téma současné české literární fantastiky

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu současné české fantastické literatury z hlediska genderových témat. Sleduje, jak jsou v dílech zastoupeny ženské a queer postavy, jakým způsobem narušují tradiční genderové role, mocenské vztahy a normy tělesnosti. Teoretická část vymezuje fantastický žánr a představuje feministické a genderové přístupy v literární vědě. Praktická část se věnuje analýze děl Kristýny Sněgoňové, Michaely Merglové, Pavla Bareše a vybraných textů z antologie Jiný kraj.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of contemporary Czech speculative fiction through the lens of gender. It explores the representation of female and queer characters and examines how traditional gender roles, power dynamics, and bodily norms are challenged within these narratives. The theoretical part defines the genre of speculative fiction and introduces feminist and gender approaches in literary studies. The analytical section focuses on works by Kristýna Sněgoňová, Michaela Merglová, Pavel Bareš, and selected texts from the anthology Jiný kraj. The thesis demonstrates that gender issues are not marginal motifs but form a crucial framework for understanding fictional worlds, character relationships, and the overall narrative impact of these works.
