The approach of university teachers to artificial intelligence

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sociálních změn a jejich dopady na akademické prostředí filozofické fakulty v Plzni. Studie zkoumá koncept anomie a individuální adaptace v univerzitním kontextu s důrazem na vyučování. Pandemie covid-19 a rostoucí význam umělé inteligence jsou považovány za klíčové faktory ovlivňující tuto problematiku. Autor se zaměřuje na adaptaci vyučujících v prostředí, kde se prolínají profesní, sociální a kulturní dynamiky. Výzkum zahrnuje použití kvalitativního přístupu, konkrétně metodu polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s akademickými pracovníky. Cílem je získat hlubší porozumění projevům nových trendů, zejména umělé inteligence, a jejich interakcím s vyučujícími v akademickém prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of social changes and their impact on the academic environment of the Faculty of Philosophy in Pilsen. The study explores the concept of anomie and individual adaptation in a university context with an emphasis on teaching. The covid-19 pandemic and the growing importance of artificial intelligence are seen as key factors influencing this issue. The author focuses on the adaptation of teachers in an environment where professional, social and cultural dynamics are intertwined. The research involves the use of a qualitative approach, namely the method of semi-structured interviews with academic employees. The main goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the manifestations of new trends, especially artificial intelligence, and their interactions with teachers in an academic environment.
