Creative strategies in the work of Milan Kundera

Abstract:

Tato diplomová bakalářská práce nejprve přibližuje méně známou část díla Milana Kundery, a to jeho básnickou tvorbu. Jedná se o tři básnické sbírky Člověk, zahrada širá, Poslední máj a Monology, které budou východiskem pro tuto práci. Poté byly vybrány autorské strategie, které budou blíže popsány a bude blíže analyzováno, kde se vyskytují v této tvorbě prvotní a kde v autorově tvorbě následující, zejména v tvorbě prozaické do roku 1993. Dále byly vybrány u dvou vybraných autorských strategií pojmy, které budou rozebrány důkladnější analýzou. Tato bakalářská diplomová práce si klade za cíl dokázat, že některé podstatné strategie se vyskytují již v této opomíjené části autorovy rané tvorby.

Abstract:

This major bachelor thesis initially introduces less known part of Milan Kundera's work, namely his poetry. The basis of the thesis are three books of poetry: Man: A Wide Garden, The Last May, and Monologues. Then chosen author's strategies will be described and it will be analysed how they are applied in his early works, and how they are employed in his following works, especially in his prose written until 1993. Furthermore the thesis will elaborate on concepts from the two selected author's strategies. This major bachelor thesis wants to prove that some of the important strategies have occurred already in this neglected part of Kundera's work.
