Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se věnuji problematice podvodů s platebními kartami. V první části se zabývám obecnou charakteristikou platebního styku, platebními kartami, jejich výhodami a nevýhodami, základním rozdělením, charakteristikou a historií. Druhá část rozebírá bezpečnost platebních karet, fyzickou a systémovou ochranu a věnuje se podrobně náležitostem a ochranným prvkům platebních karet. Ve třetí části popisuji počátky podvodů s platebními kartami, podvodné praktiky a fraud management. Čtvrtá část představuje historické regulace v USA a právní úpravu v České republice včetně příslušných zákonů. V páté části se zabývám samotnou praktickou analýzou, kde zkoumám statistické údaje ohledně podvodů s platebními kartami. Jedná se o procentní podíl podvodů z celkového objemu a podíl podvodů na celkovém obratu. V poslední, šesté části prověřuji informovanost a obezřetnost uživatelů platebních karet. Předkládám výsledky dotazníkového šetření, analýzu obsahu informací a porovnání formy informačních materiálů s pokyny pro bezpečné používání platebních karet. Tato část dále obsahuje návrh efektivního informačního materiálu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of fraud with credit cards. It is divided into six parts thusly: part one deals with the general characteristics of payment, credit cards, their advantages and disadvantages, the basic division, characteristics and history. Part two analyzes the security of payment cards, a physical and system protection and deals with the details of the security features and credit cards. Part three describes the origins of credit card frauds, deceptive practices and fraud management. Part four presents the history of regulation in the USA and legislation in the Czech Republic, including relevant laws. Part five, the actual practical analysis, which examines statistical data on fraud with credit cards. It is a percentage of the total volume of fraud and fraud in the total share turnover. The final part examines awareness and caution users of payment cards. It contains results of the conducted survey, analysis and comparison of the content of the information forms of information materials with instructions for safe use of payment cards. This part also includes the design of effective information material.
