Methodology of measurement nervous system for upper hand prosthesis with realization

Abstract:

V první části je nastíněna teorie nervové soustavy a současně i další možné metody k měření za účelem pokročilejších možností ovládání protéz. Následuje průzkum aktuálně nejpokročilejších komerčně dostupných myoprotez na trhu. Praktická část se věnuje návrhu EMG měření na horní končetině s vrozenou vadou Acheiria. Pro převod analogového signálu na digitální je použit mikroprocesoru s A/D převodníkem. Za účelem rozpoznání pohybové aktivity je použita neuronová sít. Praktická část popisuje systém umožňující klasifikaci EMG aktivity na horních končetinách.

Abstract:

The theory of the nervous system and methods for measurement to enable advanced user control of prosthesis are described in the first part of this thesis. Followed by research of nowadays the most advanced commercial myoprosthesis, which are available on the market. The practical part is focused on EMG measurement on the subject with born congenital absence of the right palm (Acheiria) on the right upper limb. These measurements are converted from an analog signal to digital due to A/D converter connected to the microcontroller. For classification of movement activity the neural network is used. The overall practical part describes a EMG system that can be used for real-time classification on upper arms.
