Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční deriváty. Cílem diplomové práce je vysvětlit co pojem finanční deriváty představuje, jaká je jejich současná i minulá právní úprava. Vzhledem k roztříštěnosti právní úpravy finančních derivátů, je v diplomové práci vytvořena obecná definice tohoto pojmu. Na příkladu uzavření smlouvy s Raiffeisen bankou je vysvětleno fungování maržových obchodů. Tato práce by mohla být návodem pro potenciální obchodníky, jak se orientovat mezi jednotlivými typy derivátů a jaké nástrahy na něj mohou čekat při jejich využití.

Abstract:

This master's thesis is focused on the financial derivatives. It’s goal is to explain the meaning of this term and to show current and historical legal regulations of the financial derivatives. With regard to the lack of clear legal definition, this thesis tries to create a general definition of the term. The principle of margin trading is explained with the example of the contract with the Raiffeisen bank. This thesis could be a guide for potential businessmen on how to recognize individual types of financial derivatives and of what threats to be aware of by using them.
