Women's Awareness of Abortion of Pregnancy at their Own Request in the First Trimester

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je informovanost žen o umělém ukončení těhotenství na vlastní žádost v prvním trimestru. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Část teoretická se v úvodu zabývá historií a legislativou umělého ukončení těhotenství v České republice, a dále se věnuje metodám, komplikacím a postinterrupčnímu období. V závěru teoretické části je popsána ošetřovatelská péče porodní asistentky o ženu podstupující umělé ukončení těhotenství. Praktická část je průzkum, který byl veden pomocí dotazníkového šetření a byl určen pro ženy všech věkových kategorií. Hlavním cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, zda jsou ženy dostatečně informovány o umělém ukončení těhotenství, zda jsou seznámeny s možnými komplikacemi, v jakém věku ženy nejčastěji umělé ukončení těhotenství podstupují a za jakých okolností by umělé ukončení podstoupily. Nasbíraná data jsou interpretována a zpracována do grafů a tabulek podle jednotlivých otázek.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is women´s awareness about the induced abortion in the first trimester on their own request. The thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part firstly deals with the history and the legislative of the induced abortion in the Czech Republic. Secondly it focuses on the methods, complications, and recovery time after an abortion. The end of the theoretical part deals with midwife´s nursery of women who undergo the induced abortion. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey of women of all age categories. The goal of this part was to find out whether women are informed well enough about the induced abortion, the possible complications, in what age women usually go through the abortion and under what circumstances they would undergo the artificial interruption. The collected data are processed into graphs and charts according to particular questions.
