Fruits and vegetables in the nutrition of preschool children

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je konzumace ovoce a zeleniny u dětí předškolního věku. Po úvodu do zásad správného stravování navazuje sonda oblíbenosti ovoce a zeleniny u dětí. Sonda je provedena i do jídelníčků mateřské školy po dobu půl roku. Zjištěné výsledky z jídelníčků jsou následně porovnány s oblíbeností druhů ovoce a zeleniny u dětí. Nechybí ani praktická část, kde je uveden dvoutýdenní projekt se zaměřením na zvýšení konzumace ovoce a zeleniny u předškolních dětí. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření po ukončení projektu jsem zjistila, že většinu dětí lze správným přístupem motivovat ke zvýšené konzumaci ovoce a zeleniny.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the consumption of fruits and vegetables among children of preschool age. An introduction to the principles of correct way of eating is followed by the survey of popularity of fruit and vegetables among children. Likewise, the probe is made into the menus of the nursery school for half a year. Furthermore, the results from the menus are compared with the popularity of fruits and vegetables among children. There is also a practical part containing a two week project focussed on increasing the consumption of fruit and vegetables among preschool children. By using a questionnaire survey after completion of the project, it was found that most of the children can be, by the right approach, motivated to the increased consumption of fruits and vegetables.
