Ľudia s postihnutím sú súčasťou našej spoločnosti. To ako sa zobrazujú v televíznych správach, a či sa zhodujú tieto zobrazenia odbornému diskurzu, som pozorovala v tomto výskume na základe monitoringu médií. Počas mesiaca Marec 2014 som monitorovala správy RTVS, televízie TA3 televízie Markíza a televízie Bratislava, ktorá musela byť pre nedostatok dát vylúčená s výskumu.
