Financial statement audit of the company and related methods and procedures

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Financial statement audit of the company and related methods and procedures ” is to analyze methods used in accordance with International auditing standards and their subsequent application on chosen section of company assets. The thesis consists of three parts and a conclusion summarizing the results. The first part defines audit, its history and legislative regulation. The second part describes the audit process, methods and procedures used to verify financial statements. Gained principles are then used for processing the third part, where are applied to a specific company.

Abstract:

Predmetom diplomovej práce „Audit účetní závěrky podniku a s ním spojené metódy a postupy“ je analyzovať metódy používané v súlade s medzinárodnými auditnými štandardmi a následne ich aplikovať na vybranú zložku majetku obchodnej spoločnosti. Práce je rozdelená do troch hlavných častí a záveru, ktorý zhrňuje výsledky práce. Prvá časť práce definuje pojem audit, jeho históriu a legislatívnu úpravu. V druhej časti je chronologicky popísaný proces auditu, metódy a postupy používané k overeniu účtovej závierky. Získané poznatky sú následne použité k spracovaniu tretej časti, v ktorej sú aplikované na konkrétnu spoločnosť.
