Gravitropismus je vývojový fenomén rostlin, který umožňuje dosáhnout na látky v půdě důležité pro jejich život. Stejně jako mnoho dalších fyziologických procesů v rostlinách je řízen i rostlinnými hormony. Vliv jednoho z nich, auxinu, byl popsán již před desetiletími. Gravitropism is developmental phenomenon in plants that enables plants to reach important substances for their direct growth from the soil. As many other physiological processes in plants, gravitropism is regulated by phytohormones. The impact of one of them, the auxin, is known for decades.
