Abstract:
Tématem bakalářské práce je osobnost a dílo Bruce Dickinsona, který patří mezi nejznámější heavymetalové zpěváky. V práci je provedena analýza textů k vybraným skladbám z různých období jeho kariéry se skupinou Iron Maiden i z jeho sólových alb. U jednotlivých témat je rovněž sledován vývoj pojetí textů v průběhu času. Jako reference je použita jeho autobiografie.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis looks at the personality and work of Bruce Dickinson, one of the most famous heavy metal singers. It provides analysis of lyrics of selected songs from various periods of his career with Iron Maiden as well as his solo albums.
