The issue of the relationship between religious and profane communities in Israel

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tematikou problematiky vztahů mezi sekulárními a religiózními obyvateli Izraele, zejména Židy. Dříve přijatý Status quo v posledních letech stěžuje každodenní život sekulárním obyvatelům Izraele. V současné době neustále roste bariéra mezi ortodoxními a sekulárními obyvateli toho státu. Mnohým ze sekulárních obyvatel se nelíbí neexistence civilních sňatků, neochota ortodoxních bránit stát či financování náboženských škol.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the theme of some of the issues that are within the relations between secular and religious residents of Israel, especially the Jews. Previously accepted status quo in recent years makes the daily life of the secular Israel residents rather difficult. Currently, there is a constantly growing barrier between Orthodox and secular residents of the state. Many of the secular citizens do not like the absence of a civil marriage, an Orthodox reluctance to defend the state and the funding of religious schools.
