Gamification using digital technologies at the lower secondary education

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá postoj českých učitelů na druhém stupni základních škol ke gamifikaci ve výuce. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část, teoretická část se věnuje konceptu gamifikace a současným trendům v oblasti vzdělávání. Empirická část využívá polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s učiteli, kteří praktikují gamifikaci ve výuce. Výzkum identifikuje klíčové aspekty vnímání gamifikace u učitelů a jejich pohled na výhody a nevýhody tohoto pedagogického přístupu. Závěr práce nabízí doporučení pro efektivní implementaci gamifikace ve výuce na druhém stupni základních škol.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the attitude of Czech second level primary school teachers towards gamification in education. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical, the theoretical part focuses on the concept of gamification and current trends in education. The empirical part uses semi-structured interviews with teachers who use gamification during their lessons. The research identifies key aspects of teachers’ perceptions of gamification and their perspectives on the advantages and disadvantages of this pedagogical approach. The thesis concludes by offering recommendations for effective implementation of gamification in the second cycle primary school classroom.
