The Development of the Ideal of Female Beauty in the Course of Japanese History
Abstract:
Tématem této práce je koncept ženské krásy v Japonsku a jeho vývoj na pozadí dějin. Cílem je představit hlavní kritéria krásy a ty následně prozkoumat v rámci vybraných období japonských dějin, počínaje obdobím Heian (7941185/1192) až do současnosti. Abstract:
The topic of this thesis is the concept of female beauty throughout the course of Japanese history. The main focus is on the Heian, Edo and Meiji periods, which I consider to be the most influential in establishing the beauty ideal.
