Anotace:

Bakalářská práce „Influence of the Second Language on the First in the Lexicon and Semantics“ pojednává o lexiko-sémantickém mezijazykovém vlivu cizího jazyka na mateřský jazyk. Teoretická část práce uvádí do problematiky mezijazykového vlivu, zatímco praktická část zkoumá konkrétní případy mezijazykového vlivu dvou mluvčí, které do dospělosti žily na území České republiky a následně pobývaly po různou dobu v anglicky mluvících zemích. Jejich chyby v češtině z oblasti lexikonu a sémantiky jsou kategorizovány a analyzovány.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis ‘Influence of the Second Language on the First in the Lexicon and Semantics’ deals with the cross-linguistic influence of the second language on the first language in lexicon and semantics. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the problematics of the crosslinguistic influence, and the practical part investigates particular instances of the crosslinguistic influence in two speakers who had lived in the Czech Republic until their adulthood and later lived in English-speaking countries for a variable period. Their errors in Czech are categorised and analysed as for the lexicon and semantics.
