Memory traces and their use in forensic practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu paměťových stop a o jejich využití v kriminalistické praxi. První část této práce se zabývá obecným popisem kriminalistické stopy, dělením kriminalistickým stop a popisem materiální a paměťové stopy. Zaměřuje se také na popis paměti z psychologického hlediska, a vysvětlení způsobu ukládání paměťových stop. Druhá část je soustředěna na metody kriminalistické praxe, které ke zkoumání využívají paměťové stopy. Konkrétně jsou zde vysvětleny pojmy a způsoby praktikování výslechu, rekognice, konfrontace, ohledání, rekonstrukce a prověrky výpovědi na místě. Je zde popsána teorie těchto metod, ale také samotná praxe, která se mnohdy od té samotné teorie liší, což je hlavním cílem této práce a to objasnění, jak se paměťové stopy využívají v rámci kriminalistické praxe.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis discusses the topic of memory traces and their use in forensic practice. The first part of this work deals with a general description of the forensic trace, the division of the forensic trace and the description of the material and memory trace. It also focuses on describing memory from a psychological point of view, and explaining how memory traces are stored. The second part is focused on the methods of forensic practice, which use memory traces for investigation. Specifically, the concepts and methods of practicing interrogation, reconnaissance, confrontation, examination, reconstruction and on-site verification of statements are explained here. The theory of these methods is described here, but also the practice itself, which often differs from the theory itself, which is the main goal of this work and the clarification of how memory traces are used in forensic practice.
