The main topic of this thesis is an analysis of the rendition of the Czech history in the novel Jáchymov by an Austrian writer Josef Haslinger. Hlavním tématem práce je analýza ztvárnění českých dějin v románu Jáchymov od rakouského spisovatele Josefa Haslingera. Předmětem zájmu je autorův život a jeho literární tvorba, dále snaha definovat cílovou skupinu čtenářů v kontextu porovnání českých a rakouských dějin a analýza rozdílů v chápání románu česky a německy mluvícími čtenáři.
