Implementation of the Smart City concept in Blansko

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Implementace koncepce Smart City v Blansku“ se zabývá hodnocením Smart City projektů ve městě Blansku. Cílem je zmapovat současnou situaci koncepce Smart City v Blansku a navrhnout další možnosti jeho využití v rámci rozvoji města. V první části literární rešerše jsou shrnuty poznatky o východiscích a současných trendech implementace koncepce Smart City v ČR s ohledem na velikost města Blanska. Dále je popsán současný přístup, projekty Smart City ve městě Blansku a zpracována strategická analýza dalších možností implementace metodou SWOT. Navrhováno je zejména posílení implementace v oblasti ekonomiky, životního prostředí, chytré dopravy a kulturního vyžití, kde byl primárním výzkumem identifikován zájem občanů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Implementation of the Smart City concept in Blansko" deals with the evaluation of Smart City projects in Blansko. The aim is to map the current situation of the Smart City concept in Blansko and to propose further possibilities of its use in the development of the city. The first part of the literature search summarizes the knowledge about the background and current trends of the Smart City concept implementation in the Czech Republic with regard to the size of the city of Blansko. Furthermore, the current approach, Smart City projects in the city of Blansko are described and a strategic analysis of further possibilities of implementation is prepared using the SWOT method. In particular, it is proposed to strengthen the implementation in the areas of economy, environment, smart transport and cultural activities, where the primary research identified the interest of citizens.
