The Possibilities of Child´s Socialization via the Internet

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikací dětí druhého stupně základní školy prostřednictvím internetu, jejich postoje k internetu a sociálním sítím a jejich důležitost pro identifikaci s vrstevníky. Dále se zaměřuje na uvědomování si rizik v prostředí internetu. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojmy média, internet, socializace, dále vliv rodiny, vrstevnické skupiny a školy na dítě. V praktické části jsou shrnuty výsledky sociologického výzkumu realizovaného kvantitativní metodou formou dotazníku, zaměřeného na přístup a vztah dětí k internetu. Cílem práce je zjistit postoje dětí k internetu a na základě dosažených výsledků ověřit platnost navržených hypotéz.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with Internet communication of children from upper primary school, their attitude to the Internet and social networks, and with the importance of Internet communication for their identification with children of the same age. It also focuses on children's awareness of risks in the Internet environment. The theoretical part of the thesis explains terms mass media, the Internet, socialization, and the influence of family, groups of children of the same age and the school on child. The practical part of the thesis summarizes outcomes from quantitative sociological research, which was realized by the form of questionnaire, that was focused on the children's attitude to the Internet and the relationship between them and the Internet. The goal of this thesis is to determine childern's stance towards the Internet and based on the findings verify the validity of proposed hypotheses.
