Fins of Roman swords on the territory of the Middle-European barbaricum: typology, chronology and context
Abstract:
The main topic of this thesis are swords from middle European barbaricum. In first part the excavation contexts in particular countries are described, second part is focused on main typological systems. Swords, which have not been classified yet are sorted in next part of thesis. Result of thesis is catalogue with all basic information.
Abstract:
Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá rímskymi mečmi zo stredoeurópskeho barbarika. v prvej časti je poskytnutý prehľad nálezových kontextov z jednotlivých krajín, nasledujúca cast sa venuje popisu základných typologických systémov. Na to nadväzuje zaradenie do jednotlivých kategórií u mečov, u ktorých neboli doteraz typy určené. Výsledkom práce je katalóg, ktorý obsahuje všetky základné informácie.
