Business combinations under common control

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o problematice vykazování podnikových kombinací pod společným ovládáním. Cílem práce je analýza úpravy těchto transakcí českou legislativou, IFRS a zhodnocení návrhů IASB ve vydaném diskusním materiálu na toto téma včetně jejich následného srovnání. Rozbor jednotlivých úprav a jejich odlišného vlivu na účetní závěrky jsou následně v rámci jednotlivých kapitol ukázány na praktických příkladech. Výsledkem práce je porovnání a zhodnocení vhodnosti zachycení podnikových kombinací pod společným ovládáním za použití české legislativy a IFRS včetně návrhů IASB.

Abstract:

This thesis reviews reporting business combinations under common control. The aim of this thesis is to analyze how these kinds of transactions are reported under Czech legislation and under IFRS. This thesis also aims to evaluate what are the preliminary views of IASB which were summarized in the discussion paper IASB has written regarding this topic. This analysis of different views on how these transactions should be reported is then shown on exemplary cases. The result of this thesis is the comparison and evaluation of reporting these transactions according to Czech legislation and IFRS including the proposed IASB changes.
