Occurence and evaluation of healthy condition of Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) and Norway maple (Acer platanoides) in forest stands in area of Forest management unit Hanušovice (Forest of Czech republic, estates company)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce monitoruje a hodnotí výskyt, zdravotní stav a růstové projevy javoru klenu (Acer pseudoplatanus), javoru mléče (Acer platanoides) a buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica) na území Lesní správy Hanušovice (Lesy České republiky, s.p.). Hodnocení bylo prováděno v porostech napříč 3.–6. lesním vegetačním stupněm. Pro dosažení co nejkompletnějšího přehledu byly pro dendrometrická měření vybrány porosty se zastoupením studovaných dřevin v širokém spektru souborů lesních typů (3B, 3S, 4A, 4S, 5B, 5K, 6N). Prováděná měření a analýzy prokázali, že zdravotní kondice a růstové projevy jsou napříč vybranými porosty v jednotlivých souborech lesních typů velmi variabilní. Z vybraných souborů lesních typů vykazovaly nejlepší podmínky pro oba druhy javorů soubory lesních typů 3S, 4S a 4A, pro buk se pak nejvhodněji jevily porosty řazené k souborům lesních typů 3S a 4A.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis monitors and evaluates the occurence, health condition and growth manifestations of Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), Norway maple (Acer platanoides) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica) in the area of Forest management unit Hanušovice (Forest of Czech republic, estates company). The evaluation was performed in stands over 3rd–6th altitudinal vegatation zone. For dendrometric survey were selected the stands with representation of studied tree species, in wide range of sets of forest types (3B, 3S, 4A, 4S, 5B, 5K, 6N) to achieve the most complete overview. Performed measurements and analyzes have shown that health conditions and growth manifestations are very variable across selected stands in individual sets of forest types. Of the selected sets of forest types, they showed the best conditions for both species of maples complex of forest type 3S, 4S and 4A, for beech they are mainly stands for sets of forest types 3S and 4A.
